Ding, Dong, The Tush Push Ban is Dead [PODCAST]

The Philadelphia region’s longstanding regional nightmare is over, as the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell’s efforts to ban the tush-push came up two votes short during the league’s meeting in Minnesota.

After former Eagles center Jason Kelce flew to Minnesota to lobby owners against voting to ban the play, the tush-push survived after a 22-10 vote to ban it.

The onus now, as Matt Lombardo and Mike Tanier discuss on the latest Between The Hashmarks Podcast falls on NFL defensive coordinators to figure out how to stop the play and offensive line coaches to figure out how to replicate it now that an effort to change the rule failed.
