The Ugliness of the Face of Innocence

As Workbook Lesson 182 states: "You have not lost your innocence. It is for this you yearn. This is your heart's desire. This is the voice you hear, and this the call which cannot be denied."

We cannot want the false innocence of the "face of innocence" - the innocence that proclaims another is guilty. We look at that face in order to look beyond it and stop deceiving ourselves. Nothing outside of us can bring happiness and Peace to us, but there is nothing outside of us. The Truth is all there is and everything else is our own nightmare.

This is a platform for me to share thoughts on A Course in Miracles. I've been a student since 1997 and Dr. Ken Wapnick was my teacher. The world we seem to live in is a shadow world and that shadow is cast on the wall of the mind. ACIM answers questions about what gave rise to the world, what perpetuates the world, and how to awaken from it.
